Abstract
The relation of Marcel Duchamps Readymades to the same artists LARGE GLASS. A reading of the Readymades as the threedimensional projections of the fourdimensional Bride. A reading of the LARGE GLASS in relation to its philosophical and scientific context (Henri Bergson, Henri Poincaré etc.). A full interpretation of the Readymades becoming - an art work, as the process that starts with the declaration, i.e. with the cut through fourdimensional becoming, that is the dated space of the now.
