Abstract

Die meisten Beiträge dieses Bandes sind überarbeitete Vorträge, die im Rahmen Ringvorlesung „Calvin und die Wirkungen. Glaube gestaltet Gesellschaft“ im Frühjahrssemester 2009 an der Universität Basel gehalten wurden. In einem ersten Teil werden zentrale Themen der Theologie Calvins dargestellt (Ekkehard Stegemann: „Calvin as a Biblical Exegete“; Reinhold Bernhardt: „God’s Sovereignty as the Centre of Faith.
