Abstract

The cerebrovascular time constant (?) describes the time to establish a change in cerebral blood volume after a step transient in arterial blood pressure (ABP). We studied the relationship between ?, ABP, intracranial pressure (ICP), and end-tidal carbon dioxide concentration (EtCO2).
