Abstract

Changing the conditions under which 4`-(hex-5-ynyloxy)- 2,2`: 6`,2 ``- terpyridine crystallises results in solvent-free crystals in which dimeric motifs supported by C&3bond; CH center dot center dot center dot N-pyridine hydrogen-bonded interactions assemble into two different 3D solid state structures.
